Six days from today it is Eagle Festival and lets hope the weather is better than it has been this weekend!
Not only is it very wet….
It is also foggy so visibility is pretty much non existent!
Only ventured down there today to get these pictures…never even tried yesterday. There were lots of American Wigeon in the rain along with the other usual species…in fact there could have been some great rarity for all I know…didn’t take the time to look.
This is a Northern Harrier perched on a log….
There was one Bald Eagle in close and others just barely visible out there in the gloom.
Should mention that in near by Harrison Bay there have been probably close to a couple of hundred Trumpeter Swans….none have ventured up this way yet ~ at least not that I’ve seen.
