We've got snow!

Something we haven't seen for a few years.....

Snow!  This was taken this morning....ended up with considerably more than what is shown here.

the sun actually came out for a few moments while we were walking...

there were still Bald Eagles out there, like this guy working on a 'fishicle'

and this one....

and ones out there.....hard to believe we went from water to this in less than a week.

With the snow more birds are showing up at the feeders.  Here are a few...

Varied Thrush....

and surprisingly, an American Robin!

a male Northern Flicker (red-shafted).....

a Steller's Jay....

this Red-breasted Sapsucker was another surprise.  Haven't seen one of them for months!

still have trouble getting used to seeing Anna's Hummingbirds out there in the snow even though they seem quite happy.
