Clear and cold!

Didn't get a chance to be out there very much today.  This was the scene for our morning walk.  To get weather like this it means outflow winds from the interior so it can be pretty chilly down by the water....

and as it is even colder out on the river proper, this becomes the scene as the water fowl moves into the more sheltered areas.  The above lot seem to be mainly American Wigeon....

while I'm pretty sure there is a male Eurasian Wigeon right there at the back facing this way. 

Tomorrow promises to be more of the same.  Sunny but even colder, but I'll have to make a concerted effort to see just what is down there.
